What system size is right for my home?+
Sizing depends on your monthly units, roof area and shade. For most Tamil Nadu homes, a 3–5 kW on-grid system covers day-time load and qualifies for the maximum PM Surya Ghar subsidy of ₹78,000. Use our calculator above for an instant estimate.
How much subsidy can I get?+
Residential on-grid systems qualify for PM Surya Ghar central subsidy: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above (capped at 3 kW). We handle the entire application on your behalf.
What is the payback period?+
In Tamil Nadu, most rooftop systems pay back in 4–5 years and continue generating free electricity for 20+ years thereafter. Actual payback depends on your tariff, sun hours and usage pattern.
Do panels work during cloudy days or power cuts?+
On-grid systems generate reduced output on cloudy days and shut down during grid outages. If you need backup, choose a hybrid system with battery storage — we design and install both.
What about maintenance?+
Our systems are largely maintenance-free. We recommend a monthly cleaning and offer AMC packages with health checks, cleaning and repairs — keeping generation at peak year after year.
